Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mig Welder role based in Doha, Qatar. The Mig Welder will be responsible for performing MIG welding on structural and fabrication components used in excavation and construction equipment, following technical drawings and welding procedures. Daily tasks include preparing and cleaning materials, setting up welding machines, selecting appropriate consumables, and executing welds to meet quality and safety standards. The role involves inspecting welds, performing minor repairs or rework, and collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to meet project deadlines. The Mig Welder will also be expected to maintain tools and equipment, adhere to all health and safety regulations, and contribute to a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong welding skills, including MIG Welding and general Welding, with practical experience in an industrial or construction environment.
• Candidates should possess additional welding process skills such as Arc Welding and TIG Welding to support a variety of fabrication tasks.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of metals, weldability, and appropriate filler materials for different applications.
• Completed vocational training, technical diploma, or certification in welding or metal fabrication (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
• Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to work in varying site conditions.
• Previous experience in construction, heavy equipment, or excavation-related fabrication is an advantage.
