Service Technician

Job Description/Specification:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all Water Quality Equipment (WQE), RCA analyzers, sensors, panels, RTUs, and associated systems installed at KAHRAMAA facilities.
• Attend breakdowns, abnormalities, and defects reported by KAHRAMAA within 24 hours from notification through email, fax, or phone.
• Identify fault severity and execute the required troubleshooting and maintenance activities accordingly.
• Submit Site Inspection Reports and Corrective Maintenance Reports as per KAHRAMAA standard format for all site defects and maintenance activities.
• Replace sensors and equipment components according to OEM/manufacturer guidelines in coordination with KAHRAMAA representatives.
• Ensure 100% operational availability of Water Quality Equipment and maintain healthy parameter readings at local panels, marshalling panels, control panels, and RTUs.
• Diagnose and clear communication, configuration, and signal output errors in WQE/RCA analyzers and sensors.
• Perform recalibration of affected instruments whenever preventive or corrective maintenance impacts measurement accuracy.
• Submit preventive and corrective maintenance reports to KAHRAMAA on the next working day before commencement of daily activities.
• Execute maintenance and calibration activities in compliance with OEM recommendations, QCS guidelines, and KAHRAMAA maintenance procedures.
• Inspect the condition of WQE panels, panel equipment, cables, glanding, dressing, and terminations; replace unhealthy cables after KAHRAMAA approval.
• Install missing tag numbers, identification plates, and panel labels where required.
• Coordinate with KAHRAMAA Water Laboratory personnel for cross-verification of water quality parameter readings.
• Support installation, dismantling, relocation, and commissioning activities of WQE/RCA equipment as instructed by KAHRAMAA Engineers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation
• Training certification from OEM MFG like HATCH/ SIEMENS/OTHER MFG
• Minimum experience in maintenance of Water Quality Equipment, analyzers, instrumentation, or industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of calibration, troubleshooting, RTU communication systems, analyzers, and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with OEM maintenance procedures, QCS standards, and industrial safety practices.
• Ability to prepare technical maintenance and calibration reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Valid Qatar driving license is preferred.
