Senior Tour Operations Manager

Job Description/Specification:

STM Tourism GCC Travel Services W.L.L. is seeking a Senior Tour Operations Manager to lead end-to-end tour planning, travel coordination, and destination management services across GCC and international markets. This role is responsible for overseeing tour operations, supplier relationships, itinerary development, and ensuring seamless execution of travel experiences for corporate and leisure clients. If you are an experienced tourism operations professional, this is a key opportunity in Qatar’s travel and tourism sector.

What you'll do:

• Oversee daily tour operations including inbound, outbound, and GCC travel packages
• Design and manage travel itineraries, tour programs, and destination experiences
• Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and local tour partners
• Manage tour guides, travel coordinators, and operations staff
• Ensure smooth execution of travel arrangements and customer experiences
• Monitor bookings, scheduling, and operational efficiency across all tours
• Handle client inquiries, custom travel requests, and group bookings
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with travel suppliers and vendors
• Ensure compliance with travel regulations, visa requirements, and safety standards
• Analyze operational performance and improve service quality and profitability

Requirements:

• Experience in tour operations, travel management, or tourism coordination
• Strong knowledge of travel systems, booking platforms, and itinerary planning
• Experience managing inbound/outbound tourism and group travel operations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple travel programs simultaneously
• Experience in GCC tourism markets is an advantage
• Problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail
