Chief Engineering Design Director

TPE Italy Engineering Qatar is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineering Design Director to lead engineering design strategy and execution in Doha. This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee complex engineering design projects, ensure technical excellence, and drive innovation across multidisciplinary teams. What you'll do:

• Lead engineering design strategy across multiple projects and disciplines
• Oversee design development, technical specifications, and engineering documentation
• Ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to industry standards and regulations
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and design consultants
• Collaborate with project management, construction, and client teams
• Review and approve design plans, drawings, and technical deliverables
• Drive innovation, efficiency, and optimization in design processes
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Build and lead high-performing engineering design teams

Requirements:

• Experience in engineering design, consulting, or project engineering leadership
• Strong understanding of design processes, technical standards, and engineering disciplines
• Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders
• Leadership and team management experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with engineering software and design tools
• Degree in Engineering or related field
