Job Description/Specification:


We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage maintenance operations across multiple companies within a large holding group. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment, facilities, and operations while optimizing efficiency and coordinating with various departments to meet operational demands effectively. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed on time, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Maintenance Operations: Manage and supervise maintenance activities across multiple companies within the holding group.
  • Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Ensure all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained to a high standard to prevent breakdowns and operational disruptions.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians and workers to ensure high performance and adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure that maintenance needs are met, and that operational demands are fully supported.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage maintenance supplies and spare parts inventory. Work with procurement teams to maintain the necessary inventory levels.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Oversee the timely troubleshooting and repair of equipment and machinery. Ensure rapid response to any breakdowns or urgent maintenance issues.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, operational performance, expenses, and compliance with safety regulations. Provide regular reports to management on maintenance status, issues, and improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve maintenance challenges, continuously improving workflow efficiency and minimizing equipment downtime.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance management or a related field, preferably with multi-site or multi-company experience.
  • Strong understanding of facility and equipment maintenance practices in large-scale operations.
  • Ability to manage and oversee maintenance needs across multiple companies within a holding group.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to coordinate teams and maintenance activities.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting techniques, and repair management.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to manage maintenance budgets and control costs while optimizing performance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting maintenance data and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess operational challenges and implement effective solutions.

Experience:

  • Logistic Administrator: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • NOC (None-Objection Certificate) (Required)
  • Qatar Driving License (Preferred)
