Supervisor

Job Description/Specification:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities related to glass and aluminium works in interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site operations for glass and aluminium installations including partitions, doors, windows, curtain walls, and cladding.
• Ensure all works are carried out as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth workflow.
• Monitor and control site manpower, ensuring productivity and proper task allocation.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with company and client standards.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring all workers use proper PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Manage material delivery, storage, and usage, ensuring minimal wastage and damage.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports, site updates, and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
• Identify site issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct snagging and rectification works prior to project handover.

Additional Duties & Control Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict discipline and compliance among workers
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and workforce performance
• Prevent material loss, misuse, or damage
• Ensure proper communication and coordination at all levels
• Report any delays, incidents, or non-compliance immediately to management
