G2nd Systems is conducting this search on behalf of Integrated Global Services, Inc. (IGS) and its Qatar region growth.

Location & Work Arrangement

Location & Work Arrangement This role is based full-time in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate must be currently residing in Qatar. A valid Qatar residence permit and work authorization are required, or the eligibility to obtain one. The position involves regular travel within Qatar to client sites, with occasional travel to the UAE and other GCC countries as business needs require.

 

Role Description

The Commercial Operations Manager serves as the primary point of coordination for technical-commercial, administrative, operations management, strategic development, and operational support activities in Qatar. This role reports to the Director of Business Development and ensures seamless integration of commercial activities, financial reporting inputs, and local support with corporate headquarters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and streamline commercial processes aligned with HQ reporting structures
  • Facilitate the commercial process with end-user client targets (company registration, tenders, etc.)
  • Prepare commercial proposals and interface with Business Development and Commercial Operations teams
  • Support financial data inputs for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reporting
  • Liaise with HQ Finance on all commercial matters related to financial reporting
  • Align capture strategies with regional management, including strategic pricing
  • Manage CRM (Salesforce) for Qatar with weekly/monthly reporting
  • Oversee subcontracting activities, third-party vendors, and local partners
  • Coordinate customs clearance, work visa facilitation, and safety training for personnel
  • Support field services operations, project documentation, and equipment/materials logistics
  • Develop the sales pipeline in Qatar and build relationships with key decision makers in upstream, downstream, and power markets

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or process engineering, or a related field (required)
  • 5+ years of proven experience in commercial management or business development, preferably within the industrial services or oil & gas sector in Qatar
  • Experience operating in the Qatar market and managing local entity requirements is mandatory
  • Operational support experience is a significant plus
  • Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (Salesforce) skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural awareness to be effective in international settings
