Job Description/Specification:


A well-positioned and growing organization in the heavy vehicles and equipment sector, focused on expanding its presence across trucks, buses, and related solutions. The company is in a phase of development, aiming to strengthen its market position and operational capabilities.

 

Job Purpose

To provide overall leadership and direction for the business, overseeing sales, aftersales, and operational functions. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, improving market share, and ensuring efficient and profitable business performance across all areas.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all business functions
  • Take full ownership of P&L, revenue performance, and business outcomes
  • Develop and implement business strategies for heavy vehicles and equipment portfolio
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, key accounts, and market segments
  • Establish and maintain relationships with government entities, fleet customers, and major clients
  • Oversee sales and aftersales operations, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Drive market positioning, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis
  • Ensure effective inventory management, supply chain coordination, and operational efficiency
  • Expand aftersales business including service contracts, parts, and maintenance programs
  • Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, or equipment industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role managing full business operations
  • Solid understanding of commercial vehicles and equipment business
  • Experience across both sales and aftersales functions
  • Commercially focused with a practical and hands-on approach
  • Good awareness of regional market dynamics
  • Leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities
