Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is seeking a qualified Lifeguard to help maintain guest and employee safety across its swimming and designated aquatic areas. Key Responsibilities
The Lifeguard will be responsible for monitoring designated swimming areas and maintaining appropriate safety arrangements throughout operating hours.
Main duties include:

Monitor swimming pools and designated shoreline areas during posted business hours.

Maintain the safety of resort guests and associates using aquatic facilities.

Ensure lifesaving equipment, including flotation devices, is properly positioned around pools and along the shoreline.

Check that the correct safety flags are displayed during operating hours.

Ensure first aid kits are available and appropriately maintained.

Display relevant pool information, including operating hours and water depth.

Monitor and communicate water and air temperatures as required.

Respond promptly to emergencies within the resort, particularly in swimming and recreational areas.

Conduct rescue procedures and provide appropriate emergency assistance.

Ensure the rescue boat is available and ready for use whenever required.

Follow established safety procedures and maintain readiness to respond to incidents.

Carry out additional duties assigned by resort management.
Qualifications and Experience
