Job Description/Specification:
Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara, part of Minor Hotels, is seeking an experienced Adventure Park Specialist to support its outdoor adventure activities and deliver safe, enjoyable experiences for guests.
This role is ideal for candidates with adventure park, rope course, or zip line experience who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with people. The specialist will introduce guests to adventure activities, explain the correct use of safety equipment, supervise participants throughout the courses, and assist with rescues when necessary.
Safety is central to the position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at heights, confident using technical equipment, and able to communicate instructions clearly to guests of different experience levels.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Safety and Activity Supervision
The Adventure Park Specialist will help ensure that guests participate in activities safely and follow established procedures.
Responsibilities include:

Fitting guests with harnesses and checking that equipment is secured correctly.

Delivering safety briefings and explaining activity instructions.

Supervising participants continuously while they use adventure courses.

Checking that safety devices are properly attached.

Ensuring guests follow course rules and use equipment as instructed.

Providing assistance during activities when appropriate.
Rescue and Guest Assistance
The role may involve retrieving participants who become stuck or need assistance on a course. The specialist will use ladders and technical climbing equipment to support safe retrievals and help maintain guest confidence throughout the experience.
Adventure Park Maintenance
The specialist will also support the upkeep of park facilities and equipment. Tasks may include:

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as an Adventure Park Specialist.

Experience with rope courses or zip lines.

Confidence working at heights and a willingness to participate in outdoor adventure activities.

Strong interest in adventure park sports and guest experiences.

Enjoyment of interacting and working with people.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Current internationally recognised First Aid and CPR certification.
Basic rock climbing or ropes experience is beneficial but not essential.
