Job Description/Specification:
QatarEnergy is seeking an experienced offshore drilling professional to represent the company on an offshore jack-up drilling rig. The role carries responsibility for overseeing rig operations and ensuring that all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with operational objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
Oversee Offshore Drilling Operations
Act as QatarEnergy's company representative on the offshore jack-up drilling rig. Take responsibility for overseeing rig operations and ensuring activities are conducted according to operational requirements and established objectives.
Maintain Safe Operations
Ensure that offshore drilling activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Maintain close oversight of operational activities and support compliance with the safety requirements relevant to rig operations.
Support Operational Performance
Monitor drilling operations to help achieve operational objectives. Apply professional judgment and experience to identify issues, assess available information, and support effective decision-making.
Make Sound Operational Decisions
Evaluate operational situations systematically and make decisions based on careful analysis and attention to detail. The role requires the ability to assess changing conditions and respond appropriately to operational challenges.
Oversee Workover Activities
Experience in workover operations involving gas wells and horizontal wells is preferred. Candidates with this background may bring relevant technical knowledge to offshore drilling and well intervention activities.
Required Experience and Skills

Drilling experience: At least 15 years of experience in drilling operations.
