The successful candidate will help develop revenue strategies, prepare forecasts and performance reports, and coordinate with Sales, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure commercial decisions are implemented effectively. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn data into practical recommendations are important for this position.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Revenue Manager will contribute to the hotel's revenue planning and performance monitoring through the following activities:

  • Support pricing and inventory strategies: Assist in developing and implementing pricing decisions and room inventory plans to improve revenue and occupancy.

  • Analyze booking pace and demand: Monitor reservations, market demand trends, competitor activity, and distribution channel performance to identify commercial opportunities.

  • Prepare forecasts and reports: Develop revenue forecasts and performance reports, highlighting potential risks, emerging trends, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Coordinate revenue meetings: Organize revenue-related meetings and follow up on agreed actions with Sales, Reservations, and Operations teams.

  • Maintain distribution accuracy: Monitor booking and distribution channels to ensure that room rates and inventory information remain accurate and consistent.

  • Support budgeting activities: Assist with the annual budgeting process and contribute to revenue planning.

  • Evaluate promotions and corporate accounts: Review the performance of promotional campaigns and corporate accounts to understand their contribution to hotel revenue.

These responsibilities require regular coordination between departments and a clear understanding of how pricing, availability, and demand influence hotel performance.
