Key Responsibilities

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting ERP functionality while ensuring that business systems communicate reliably.

Key duties include:

• ERP development and customization: Design, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using X++.

• System integration: Build and maintain integrations between D365 F&O and warehouse management systems, order management platforms, marketplace services, product catalogues, finance systems, reporting tools, and external APIs.

• API and service development: Develop REST APIs, OData services, custom services, Data Entities, workflows, and batch jobs to support business processes and data exchange.

• Reporting and analytics: Create and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI reporting solutions to support operational and business requirements.

• Business process support: Develop and troubleshoot technical workflows involving finance, procurement, inventory, warehouse management, and sales order processing.

• Performance optimization: Improve application performance by reviewing high-volume transactions, database queries, batch jobs, and integration endpoints.

• Production troubleshooting: Investigate integration failures, posting errors, data mismatches, synchronization issues, and other production problems.

• Release management and documentation: Follow engineering standards through Git, CI/CD pipelines, controlled releases, and clear technical documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a strong technical background in ERP development and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

The main requirements include:

• At least four years of ERP development experience.

• A minimum of three years of hands-on technical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

• Strong knowledge of X++, Visual Studio, extensions, event handlers, and Chain of Command.

• Practical experience with Data Entities, OData, and Data Management Framework (DMF).

• Experience developing REST APIs and implementing enterprise integration patterns.

• Knowledge of performance tuning and SQL-based data validation.

• A solid understanding of ERP processes across finance, supply chain, inventory, warehouse management, procurement, and sales.
