Job Description/Specification:

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage (F&B) Storekeeper to support hotel inventory and storeroom operations. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in hotel storekeeping, food and beverage inventory control, and stock management, particularly those who have worked in four- or five-star hotels.

The F&B Storekeeper is responsible for receiving deliveries, checking product quality, organizing storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory records, and issuing supplies to authorized hotel departments. The position plays an important role in maintaining food safety, reducing wastage, controlling costs, and ensuring that restaurants, bars, and kitchens have the supplies they need for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will oversee routine storekeeping activities and ensure that food and beverage products are handled according to hotel standards.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Receive and inspect incoming food, beverages, and operating supplies against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.

  • Verify delivered quantities, freshness, quality, and product specifications before accepting stock.

  • Store products in designated areas while maintaining appropriate temperature, hygiene, and safety conditions.

  • Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) methods to manage stock rotation and reduce spoilage.

  • Monitor inventory levels, expiry dates, storage conditions, and product quality.

  • Issue stock to kitchens, restaurants, bars, and other authorized departments against approved requisitions.

  • Update inventory records and document all stock movements in the hotel's inventory management system.

  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and assist with monthly inventory reconciliation.

  • Identify and report damaged goods, expired products, stock discrepancies, and potential shortages.

  • Keep storerooms, refrigerators, freezers, and beverage storage areas clean, organized, secure, and properly maintained.

  • Coordinate with purchasing, cost control, culinary, and food and beverage teams to maintain adequate stock availability.

  • Follow HACCP principles, food hygiene requirements, hotel policies, and workplace safety procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Help prevent unauthorized stock issuance, control high-value products, and minimize inventory losses and wastage.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications in logistics or inventory management are an advantage.

  • Experience: At least two years of experience as an F&B Storekeeper or Storekeeper in a four- or five-star hotel.

  • Luxury hospitality: Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is highly preferred.

  • Inventory management: Good knowledge of stock control, food and beverage products, storage procedures, and stock rotation.

  • Food safety: Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, HACCP principles, hygiene standards, and temperature monitoring.

  • Software skills: Familiarity with hotel inventory systems such as Materials Control, Oracle, or similar platforms.

  • Computer skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.

  • Record keeping: Strong numerical ability, organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and report inventory issues clearly.

  • Work management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy hotel environment.

Food safety or HACCP certification is an advantage. Experience in Qatar or the wider GCC hospitality industry is preferred. Candidates should also be comfortable handling food and beverage inventory, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages where applicable.
