AECOM is seeking an experienced Airport Special Systems (ELV/ICT) Lead to oversee the design review, coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and integration of airport ELV and ICT systems. The role is critical to ensuring that all airport technology systems are delivered in compliance with project specifications, international standards, operational requirements, and client expectations.
The successful candidate will work closely with contractors, consultants, airport stakeholders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Design Review & Technical Coordination
- Review ELV/ICT design submissions, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between ELV/ICT systems and other disciplines, including:
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- Architectural works
- Airport operational systems
Installation & Construction Supervision
- Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Verify workmanship quality and technical standards throughout construction.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination conflicts.
Testing & Commissioning
- Review testing, commissioning, and system integration procedures.
- Oversee testing activities to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Support operational readiness and system acceptance activities.
- Ensure closure of technical observations prior to handover.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with:
- Airport IT teams
- Facilities Management teams
- Security departments
- Operations teams
- Contractors and consultants
- Facilitate successful system integration and final acceptance.
- Provide technical guidance during project execution and commissioning phases.
Project Delivery & Handover
- Support value engineering and system optimization initiatives.
- Review and approve:
- As-built drawings
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals
- Handover documentation
- Ensure complete and accurate project closeout documentation.
