Ibis & Adagio Doha is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while ensuring compliance with hotel quality standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, and designated hotel spaces according to brand standards.
- Ensure all assigned areas are consistently clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Report maintenance issues and room defects through the hotel's maintenance reporting system (KnowCross).
- Follow Accor brand standards and hotel quality procedures at all times.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and materials safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Deliver friendly and professional service to guests and respond appropriately to requests.
- Support the housekeeping team with additional duties as required.
- Attend departmental training sessions and participate in ongoing learning and development programs.
- Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality are always maintained.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe chemical handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical fitness to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
