Qatar Airways is seeking a Crew Training & Recovery Officer to join its Crew Training Planning & Qualifications team in Doha. The role focuses on coordinating and managing training recovery activities for Flight Deck and Cabin Crew, ensuring uninterrupted training operations while maintaining compliance with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) regulations and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily operational and administrative duties in accordance with crew training procedures.
- Monitor trainer and trainee rosters to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
- Coordinate and schedule training recovery activities following disruptions.
- Ensure training plans are implemented efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Conduct daily quality audits to verify compliance with training regulations and standards.
- Manage vacant training slots and ensure timely replacement of trainees or instructors.
- Monitor training results and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Update crew rosters and escalate training-related issues when necessary.
- Monitor and resolve training system alerts and operational exceptions.
- Maximize utilization of instructors and training resources.
- Communicate training schedule changes to crew members and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate ground training, simulator sessions, and line training activities.
- Support training operations by ensuring efficient use of simulators and training facilities.
- Perform additional duties assigned by department management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience in:
- Flight Operations
- Crew Resource Management
- Crew Training Planning
- Aviation Training Administration (preferred)
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
- Understanding of crew management and training scheduling systems.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
