Qatar Duty Free is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join its retail team as Till Assistants at Hamad International Airport. This role is responsible for handling sales transactions, maintaining cash control procedures, and delivering outstanding customer service to passengers from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure the cash float is correct at the beginning of each shift.
- Process customer purchases and provide receipts for all transactions.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, travelers' cheques, and other payment methods securely.
- Maintain the security of cash, stock, and transaction documentation.
- Manage and account for cash variances at the end of shifts.
- Ensure quick and efficient transaction processing and product packing.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to travelers and retail customers.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Report any security concerns or incidents to supervisors or duty managers.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information, records, and statistics.
- Remain vigilant regarding theft-prone and high-risk retail areas.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
