Vistas Global Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept development through engineering, construction, commissioning, and final handover. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects throughout the complete project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility studies to closeout and handover.
- Develop project execution strategies, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Manage EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations and contractor performance assessments.
- Review engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, 3D models, and technical specifications.
- Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, FAT, SAT, and multidisciplinary design review activities.
- Oversee procurement activities, vendor coordination, and long-lead equipment management.
- Monitor project risks, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and contractor claims.
- Support construction activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality compliance.
- Coordinate commissioning, startup, PSSR, project acceptance, and warranty closeout activities.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and performance updates for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in petrochemical projects is highly desirable.

- PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Reviews)
- Procurement and Contract Management
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, RLIC, and industry safety standards.
- Experience with project economics, risk assessment, contractor claims, and compliance management.
- Strong technical documentation and reporting capabilities.
