We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects. The successful candidate will lead site operations, oversee project execution, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and manage construction activities across multiple projects in Doha.
This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in civil construction project management within Qatar or the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage general civil construction projects, including residential, commercial, structural, and infrastructure works.
- Supervise site activities to ensure projects are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and industry standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical documents, and construction drawings.
- Oversee foundation, structural, and concrete works to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and site manpower effectively.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare progress reports and support project planning and execution activities.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in general civil construction projects.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
- Previous experience working in Qatar or the GCC region is required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid Qatari Driving License.
- Valid UPDA Registration (Grade C or higher).
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
