Job Description/Specification:

A senior enterprise client in Doha is scaling its internal data and analytics capability and is seeking an experienced professional to lead a data-focused product at enterprise level. The role sits between product management, analytics strategy, business requirements, and executive decision-making, making it suitable for a professional who can connect business priorities with technical delivery.

This is a senior contract opportunity requiring continuous onsite work in Doha for 12 months. The position involves end-to-end product ownership, roadmap direction, governance, stakeholder management, and translating executive requirements into practical product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the data and analytics product end-to-end, from strategic direction through delivery and ongoing improvement.
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap in line with enterprise business priorities.
  • Determine which capabilities should be developed and establish the business rationale behind product decisions.
  • Translate executive-level business requirements into clear product capabilities and technical delivery priorities.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with agreed business requirements.
  • Govern product scope, priorities, requirements, and delivery expectations.
  • Engage senior executives and business stakeholders to understand data-driven decision-making needs.
  • Connect analytics strategy with practical product development and enterprise objectives.
  • Balance business priorities, technical considerations, and product requirements when making decisions.
  • Provide clear direction to stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Product Management, with strong experience in analytics or data products.
  • Experience owning product roadmaps at enterprise scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into product capabilities.
  • Experience working directly with senior executive stakeholders on data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of analytics and data product environments.
  • Excellent business and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to establish product direction and maintain focus on agreed business requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Product Management or Business Analysis certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Arabic language capability is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Who Should Apply?

This opportunity is designed for an experienced Data Product Manager, Analytics Product Manager, Enterprise Product Manager, or senior product professional who has worked with data and analytics at a strategic level.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership rather than simply coordinating delivery. You should be able to explain why a product capability is needed, what business problem it solves, how it should be prioritized, and how the technical team should translate the requirement into a usable solution.

Professionals who have regularly presented to executives, influenced enterprise decisions, and managed complex product roadmaps are likely to find the responsibilities closely aligned with their background.

Arabic language skills can strengthen a candidate's profile, although they are not required.

Skills That Will Help You Succeed

The role requires a combination of product, analytics, and stakeholder-management capabilities, including:

  • Enterprise product ownership
  • Data and analytics strategy
  • Product roadmap management
  • Business requirements analysis
  • Executive stakeholder engagement
  • Data-driven decision-making
  • Product governance
  • Business-to-technology translation
  • Strategic prioritization
  • Cross-functional leadership
  • Technical team collaboration
  • Requirements management
  • Product lifecycle management
  • Enterprise-scale delivery

The ability to communicate complex data and product concepts in clear business language is particularly important.

How to Stand Out

Your CV should demonstrate ownership and outcomes, rather than simply listing product-management responsibilities.

Highlight the size and complexity of products you have managed, the business functions involved, and the seniority of stakeholders you worked with.

Strong examples could include:

  • Enterprise data products launched or transformed
  • Analytics capabilities introduced across business units
  • Product roadmaps developed and delivered
  • Executive decision-making supported through analytics
  • Business processes improved through data products
  • Conflicting requirements successfully prioritized
  • Data or analytics initiatives translated into measurable business outcomes

If you have worked across both business and technical teams, make that bridge-building experience highly visible.

Interview Preparation

Expect questions that test strategic product ownership as well as stakeholder management.

You may be asked:

“How would you build a roadmap for an enterprise data product?”

Prepare to explain how you would gather business requirements, understand strategic priorities, assess technical dependencies, prioritize capabilities, and establish measurable outcomes.

“What would you do if an executive requested a feature that the technical team considered low priority?”

Discuss how you would understand the business objective, assess value and effort, communicate trade-offs, and make a transparent prioritization decision.

“How do you translate an executive business requirement into something a technical team can build?”

Prepare a real example demonstrating how you moved from an ambiguous business objective to defined requirements, product capabilities, acceptance criteria, and delivery.

Contract & Working Arrangement

The assignment is structured as a 12-month continuous onsite contract in Doha. The opportunity is based on a business visa rather than permanent relocation.

The package described includes accommodation, flights home on rotation, per diem, and medical coverage. The fixed contract rate is paid in AUD or USD through an Australian contracting entity, with an expected start within a few weeks of receiving an offer.
