A Fixed Assets & Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting, reconciliation, verification, reporting, and control of capital assets and inventory. - Manage accounting activities for fixed assets, capital expenditure, and inventory in accordance with applicable financial standards and internal policies.
- Ensure the fixed asset register and related accounting records remain accurate and up to date.
- Review asset acquisitions, transfers, adjustments, revaluations, disposals, and retirements.
- Oversee physical verification and tagging of fixed assets and reconcile physical records with the ERP.
- Review monthly capital asset continuity schedules and fixed asset reporting.
- Supervise depreciation reviews, month-end reporting, account analysis, and fixed asset period-end closing.
- Reconcile inventory balances between financial accounts and supply chain management systems.
- Coordinate annual and random physical inventory counts and ensure discrepancies are investigated and properly accounted for.
- Manage insurance-related activities for fixed assets and inventory, including documentation and tender requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements and ensure supporting records are available.
- Lead and organize the Fixed Assets and Inventory team, including workload allocation, leave planning, and performance monitoring.

- CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance.
- 15+ years of overall accounting experience.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in fixed assets and inventory.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in the hospital or healthcare sector.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience within the GCC.
- Proven experience managing high-volume fixed assets and inventory through an ERP system.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting controls.
- Experience with recognized ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
