Compass International School Doha, part of Nord Anglia Education, is seeking a passionate Secondary SEN Teacher to join its dedicated team. Established in 2006, Compass provides a premium British education across three campuses, offering IGCSEs, A Levels, and the IB Diploma Programme. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching and support for pupils with special educational needs.

  • Create inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments.

  • Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

  • Support EAL learners to access the curriculum and develop language fluency.

  • Contribute to departmental development and share best practices with colleagues.

  • Promote subject learning beyond the classroom through visits, visitors, and ECAs.

  • Engage actively with parents, students, and the wider school community.

  • Participate in professional development and embrace feedback for continuous improvement.

 

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant specialist subject.

  • Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE/PDGE).

  • Teaching experience in UK and/or international contexts.

  • Strong working knowledge of the English national curriculum.

  • Fluent English speaker (native or near‑native level).

  • Eligible for Qatar visa requirements (Bachelor’s degree and face‑to‑face teaching qualification).

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree or evidence of further professional development.
