Job Description/Specification:
A leading engineering company in Qatar is seeking an experienced QC Engineer for a short‑term assignment in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector. This role is ideal for professionals with strong quality control and assurance expertise, particularly in shutdowns and turnarounds.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of QC Engineers and Inspectors.

Oversee quality control and assurance activities across piping, structural steel, tanks, and welding installations.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.

Support shutdown and turnaround projects with hands‑on field experience.

Deliver accurate documentation and reporting for QA/QC processes.
Requirements
-
B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
-
12–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer industries.

Minimum 5–7 years of GCC experience (mandatory).

Proven leadership in managing QC teams.

Shutdown/turnaround project experience preferred.

Strong background in field installation of piping, structural steel, tanks, and welding.

Duration: 3 months (extendable).
