Job Description/Specification:


Mind Institute Therapy Clinic in Doha is seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a well‑resourced clinic dedicated to supporting children and young people with autism and learning disorders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess children with autism, developmental language disorder, speech sound disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, and complex communication needs.

  • Develop individualized therapy plans and write detailed reports.

  • Deliver evidence‑based therapy, including AAC methods (PECS, Makaton, communication devices).

  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists and therapy assistants.

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, and behavior analysts on shared treatment plans.

  • Contribute to diagnostic assessments and service development.

  • Provide parent training and family support.

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy / Speech‑Language Pathology.

  • Current professional registration (HCPC, RCSLT, ASHA CCC‑SLP, SAC, or SPA) with eligibility for QCHP licensing in Qatar.

  • Minimum 5 years of paediatric experience, including autism.

  • Previous senior or supervisory responsibility.

  • Fluent professional English (Arabic is an advantage but not required).
