Job Description/Specification:
This Associate – Operations role focuses on managing the trader network for a digital vehicle bidding and resale operation. The position is responsible for driving trader participation, supporting live auctions, resolving account and platform issues, managing successful transactions, and coordinating vehicle collection with commercial buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live 30-minute bidding windows to maintain strong trader participation and competitive bidding activity.
- Act as the primary operational contact for external traders during active bidding sessions.
- Resolve platform issues and provide basic technical clarification to traders when required.
- Monitor vehicles approaching auction expiry without external bids and activate the designated backup bidding process.
- Onboard and train new used car dealers and commercial traders on the CashMyCar platform.
- Expand and maintain the trader network to increase participation and bidding volumes.
- Maintain regular communication with traders to collect feedback on vehicle inventory, inspection reports, and platform usability.
- Monitor compliance with platform rules, including payment requirements, bidding commitments, and bid retractions.
- Coordinate trader-related compliance matters with the legal team when necessary.
- Notify winning traders after customer acceptance of the final bid and issue the relevant commercial invoice.
- Verify collection of the applicable 2.5% commercial trader commission for completed transactions.
- Coordinate vehicle collection schedules with the Purchase Executive and Driver while ensuring agreed service-level timelines are met.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience working directly with traders, used car dealers, or commercial buyers.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Understanding of vehicle transfer processes and related documentation.
- Ability to monitor live transactions and respond quickly to operational issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to transaction details.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external commercial partners.
