Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods and materials across assigned routes in Qatar.
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and complete basic maintenance checks before starting each journey.
  • Obtain the required authorization from the Transport Coordinator or Supervisor before beginning a trip.
  • Coordinate with customers or authorized representatives regarding delivery requirements and site arrangements.
  • Load and transport goods according to customer instructions and company procedures.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and within the expected timeframe.
  • Obtain customer signatures on Trip Tickets or Delivery Notes as confirmation of successful delivery.
  • Submit completed delivery documentation to the Transport Coordinator for billing and record-keeping.
  • Report vehicle, delivery, route, or customer-related issues promptly to the responsible transport supervisor.
  • Follow Qatar traffic regulations, company safety procedures, and instructions from transport management.

Requirements

  • Valid Qatar Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
  • Three to five years of experience as a Heavy Duty Driver.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, delivery, or commercial fleet operations is preferred.
