Job Description/Specification:
A leading company in Qatar is seeking a Junior Logistics Coordinator to support international shipping, import/export operations, and supply chain activities. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on logistics experience who can manage documentation, coordinate with suppliers and freight partners, and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Prepare and review shipping documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading/Air Waybills, and Certificates of Origin.

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transport companies.

Track and monitor international shipments from origin to final delivery.

Handle customs documentation and support clearance procedures.

Communicate professionally with suppliers via email (Microsoft Outlook) for inquiries, shipment follow-ups, order confirmations, and delivery updates.

Ensure timely follow-up on shipments, approvals, and delivery schedules.

Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics activities.

Support compliance with Incoterms and international shipping terms.

Assist in resolving logistics issues and delays.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

2–3 years of logistics experience, with import/export operations exposure.

Practical knowledge of shipping documentation and customs clearance procedures.

Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping terms.

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; ERP/logistics system experience is an advantage.
