A professional beauty salon in Qatar is seeking a talented and experienced Makeup Artist to join its team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality makeup services for bridal occasions, evening events, special occasions, and professional photoshoots.
The position is open to all nationalities, including qualified candidates currently in Qatar and applicants from overseas who are willing to relocate. The ideal candidate should have strong technical makeup skills, excellent customer service, creativity, and a professional approach to beauty and hygiene standards.
About This Role
The Makeup Artist will work closely with clients to understand their preferences and create personalized makeup looks based on their skin tone, skin type, face shape, occasion, and personal style.
The role requires strong knowledge of professional makeup products and techniques, particularly bridal and special-occasion makeup, along with the ability to maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional makeup services for bridal, evening, special occasions, events, and photoshoots.
- Create customized makeup looks according to client preferences, skin tones, skin types, and face shapes.
- Conduct client consultations and recommend suitable makeup styles and products.
- Apply professional makeup using appropriate techniques and products.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout all services.
- Clean, sanitize, and properly maintain brushes, tools, equipment, and makeup products.
- Keep the makeup station clean, organized, and professional.
- Stay updated with current beauty trends, makeup techniques, and industry developments.
- Provide friendly, professional, and personalized customer service.
- Ensure clients are satisfied with the final makeup look and overall service experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous professional experience as a Makeup Artist in a salon, beauty center, studio, or similar environment.
- Strong practical experience in bridal, evening, and special-occasion makeup.
- Good knowledge of different skin types, skin tones, face shapes, makeup products, and application techniques.
- Updated makeup portfolio or professional work samples is required.
- Good English communication skills.
- Creative, professional, friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work professionally with different clients and makeup preferences.
- Open to all nationalities.
- Willingness to relocate to Qatar for overseas candidates.
