Job Description/Specification:
AECOM, the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a BIM Manager to lead digital coordination and information management for major airport projects in Qatar. This role offers the opportunity to shape project delivery through advanced BIM processes and ensure compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead BIM management within the PMCM team for airport projects.

Review and monitor the Contractor’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and deliverables.

Ensure BIM processes comply with project requirements and standards.

Oversee multidisciplinary coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and airport systems.

Review federated models, monitor clash detection, and resolve interface issues.

Lead BIM coordination meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.

Monitor model development, LOD compliance, and data integrity throughout the lifecycle.

Verify as‑built BIM models and asset information against handover requirements.

Support digital asset management and integration with FM systems.

Prepare BIM status reports, dashboards, and management updates.

Drive continuous improvement of BIM workflows and coordination processes.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

8–12 years of BIM experience in large‑scale construction, infrastructure, or airport projects.

Proven experience as BIM Manager or BIM Lead on major multidisciplinary projects.

Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BEP, LOD, clash detection, and information management.

Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, or equivalent platforms.

Experience in as‑built BIM, asset information, and FM integration preferred.

Airport project experience highly desirable.
