Job Description/Specification:
Worley, a global professional services company in energy, chemicals, and resources, is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to join its team in Qatar. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy projects while supporting the delivery of oil and gas facilities with technical excellence.
Primary Objectives

Ensure adherence to engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

Support standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.

Apply technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications to project execution.

Use local and global standards to maintain technical excellence.

Conduct peer reviews, incorporate feedback, and ensure quality outcomes.

Coordinate with other disciplines to meet project scope, cost, and time requirements.

Work within Quality Assurance systems and guidelines.
Job Specific Knowledge

Visible and active commitment to HSE management in project environments.

Expertise in regulations, codes, and standards for onshore and offshore piping design.

Extensive design experience in piping engineering, stress analysis, pipe supports, and plant layouts.

Specialized knowledge of piping materials, valves, and SP Item specifications.

Ability to guide staff and ensure compliance with recognized engineering practices.
Quality Assurance & Safety

Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance systems.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory (or willingness to achieve within probation).

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is an advantage.
IT Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with 3D review software such as Navisworks and SPR.
