Parsons is seeking a proactive Stakeholder Management Engineer to join its team in Qatar. This role is essential for coordinating and managing interactions with government authorities, utility providers, contractors, and local communities to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including authorities, utility agencies, and community representatives.

  • Support project approvals, permits, and interface requirements.

  • Prepare and submit stakeholder-related documentation, correspondence, and reports.

  • Monitor stakeholder requirements and commitments to align with project objectives.

  • Identify and resolve potential stakeholder issues or conflicts.

  • Organize and attend stakeholder meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions.

  • Maintain a stakeholder engagement log to track interactions and agreements.

  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and planning teams to integrate stakeholder needs.

  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and communication plans.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate timely approvals and NOCs.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on stakeholder matters.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in stakeholder coordination for large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Proven ability to interact with public authorities, utility agencies, and stakeholders professionally.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Solid understanding of project lifecycles and stakeholder engagement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.

  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and correspondence.

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience in infrastructure projects such as highways, utilities, urban development, or rail.
