Job Description/Specification:
Consultant for Services & Contracting, a trusted provider of skilled workforce solutions in Qatar since 2013, is seeking a Post Weld Heat Treatment Technician to join its team. This role is vital in ensuring weld integrity and compliance with industry standards across Oil & Gas, construction, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor post weld heat treatment equipment on various weldments and components.

Prepare workpieces and thermocouples, ensuring proper placement and calibration.

Control heating cycles and soak times according to approved procedures.

Record and verify temperature data to meet project specifications and codes.

Inspect weld areas before and after treatment to confirm quality outcomes.

Coordinate with welding teams, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel.

Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

Complete job reports and documentation accurately.

Follow company HSE guidelines and participate in toolbox talks.

Support efficient job planning and site organization.
Requirements

Strong technical skills in PWHT operations, including setup, calibration, and safe use of equipment.

Practical experience in reading welding procedures, heat treatment charts, and engineering drawings.

Solid knowledge of industrial safety practices (PPE, hazard identification, lockout/tagout).

Effective teamwork and communication skills for coordination and reporting.

Basic math and measurement skills for verifying parameters and troubleshooting.

Relevant technical certification or vocational training in welding or heat treatment preferred.

Previous experience as a PWHT technician or in a similar role is an advantage.
