Job Description/Specification:
Qatar Master W.L.L is hiring an experienced BIM Modeler – MEP to support construction and engineering projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in MEP BIM modeling, particularly in HVAC, ducting, and piping systems, with excellent proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination.
The role involves developing accurate MEP models, interpreting construction drawings, and coordinating building services with architectural and structural disciplines to support efficient project delivery.
About This Role
The BIM Modeler will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed MEP BIM models and drawings, ensuring that HVAC, ducting, and piping layouts are accurately modeled and coordinated with other building services and construction disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update detailed MEP BIM models using Revit and other relevant BIM software.
- Model HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and associated MEP services based on engineering and construction drawings.
- Read, interpret, and work from MEP shop drawings, design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural models to identify and resolve clashes.
- Support BIM coordination meetings and incorporate required design or construction changes.
- Maintain model accuracy, drawing standards, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist engineers and project teams with BIM-related technical requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven professional experience as an MEP BIM Modeler.
- Strong practical experience in HVAC, ducting, and piping BIM modeling.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and other BIM coordination tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction, MEP, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Experience coordinating MEP services with architectural and structural disciplines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate models within project deadlines.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
