Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of MEP projects, with a strong focus on HVAC detail engineering, construction, installation, and site execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical/HVAC systems, proven experience working on MEP construction projects, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, site teams, and other disciplines.
About This Role
The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for supporting HVAC engineering and construction activities, ensuring that systems are designed, coordinated, installed, and executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable requirements.
The successful candidate should have practical experience in HVAC detail engineering and construction works and be capable of resolving technical and site-related issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review HVAC detail engineering and design for MEP projects.
- Review HVAC drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and technical documents.
- Coordinate HVAC works with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines.
- Monitor HVAC installation and construction activities at site.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Review technical submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, and relevant engineering documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress and support timely completion of HVAC activities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Identify design and construction issues and recommend practical technical solutions.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and project standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant MEP project experience.
- Strong experience in HVAC detail engineering and construction works.
- Practical experience in HVAC installation, coordination, testing, commissioning, and site execution.
- Experience working on building or large-scale MEP construction projects is preferred.
