Autograph Collection is hiring a General Maintenance Technician for its property in Lusail, Qatar. - Replace light bulbs and air-conditioning filters.
- Thoroughly clean work areas after completing painting or repair activities.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on plumbing fixtures and equipment.
- Perform basic electrical repairs involving lamps, switches, outlets, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, and other equipment.
- Assist with guestroom maintenance, including televisions and other guestroom items.
- Program televisions and perform engineering-related inventory duties.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures before carrying out applicable maintenance work.
- Perform repairs and maintenance involving interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler systems.
- Use basic computer systems to enter information, including air-handler schedules and temperature adjustments.
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries through the appropriate procedures.
- Properly store flammable materials and follow applicable safety requirements.
- Assist guests and individuals with disabilities while maintaining professional service standards.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company property and confidential information.
- Work collaboratively with other engineering and hotel teams to achieve operational goals.
General Maintenance Technician Requirements
The stated qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Some experience in general maintenance.
- Experience with interior and exterior surface preparation and painting.
- Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license.
- No supervisory experience is required.
