Job Description/Specification:
Transafe Logistics is hiring a Fleet Coordinator for its heavy vehicle transportation operations in Al Khor, Qatar. Fleet Coordinator Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of the heavy vehicle fleet and coordinate with drivers, suppliers, operations teams, and relevant authorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize fleet utilization and operational efficiency.
- Schedule regular vehicle servicing and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure vehicles are serviced within the required timelines.
- Follow up after maintenance work to ensure invoices are submitted for booking and completed jobs are communicated to the operations team for closure.
- Coordinate with suppliers and follow up on outstanding invoices for completed maintenance work.
- Monitor driver behavior and encourage safe, professional, and customer-focused performance.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly fleet and operational reports.
- Support the accuracy of monthly fleet management and closing reports.
- Participate in the driver recruitment process and help identify suitable candidates.
- Guide drivers regarding delivery and offloading requirements at different destinations.
- Assist drivers with the documentation required for deliveries and offloading activities.
- Coordinate truck and trailer registration processes and follow up with relevant government authorities.
- Support QHSE activities and help maintain required safety and operational standards.
- Perform system administration activities using Oracle and the Fleet Management System (FMS).
- Monitor fleet information and ensure relevant operational data is updated accurately.
- Respond to telephone orders and delivery-related information when required.
- Support efficient routing and scheduling of trucks according to delivery requirements.
Fleet Coordinator Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of logistics experience in the heavy vehicle transportation industry.
- Valid Qatar driving license.
