The St. Regis Doha is seeking a finance and accounting professional to join its team in West Bay, Doha. This full-time, non-management position focuses on financial record keeping, cash handling, reconciliations, period-end procedures, audits, and maintaining accurate accounting documentation.

Finance & Accounting Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the property's day-to-day financial control and accounting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Check financial figures, postings, documents, and account codes for accuracy.
- Verify mathematical calculations and ensure financial entries are properly recorded.
- Organize, secure, and maintain financial files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to established procedures.
- Record, store, retrieve, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize financial and numerical information using journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and prepare required reports.
- Conduct periodic audits of cashier banks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
- Document and communicate cash variances and take appropriate action according to established procedures.
- Coordinate with the property's armored car service or primary banking institution when required.
- Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
- Maintain financial records and documentation required for audit and compliance purposes.
- Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of financial and proprietary information.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and ensure assigned financial tasks are understood and completed correctly.
- Support the finance team in achieving operational and accounting objectives.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
