Job Description/Specification:
talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Picker to join its tmart warehouse operations team. This role is focused on preparing online grocery orders quickly and accurately while helping maintain efficient inventory and store operations.
The position is suitable for candidates who are reliable, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail or warehouse environment.
About the Role
The Picker will support daily operations within the tmart facility, helping ensure products are received, stored, picked and packed correctly for online customer orders.
As part of the warehouse operations team, the successful candidate will contribute directly to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment and the smooth dispatch of grocery orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily store and warehouse operations.
- Receive and check distribution center and vendor purchase orders and invoices.
- Unpack incoming products and replenish stock as required.
- Pick products accurately according to online customer orders.
- Pack completed orders according to operational procedures.
- Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Organize products and maintain efficient storage arrangements.
- Keep storage and working areas clean, tidy and well organized.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support an efficient and timely dispatch process.
- Report stock discrepancies or operational issues to supervisors.
- Work with other warehouse team members to meet daily operational targets.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should be dependable, punctual and comfortable working in a busy warehouse or retail environment.
Requirements include:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and responsible approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous retail, grocery, warehouse or customer service experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
Working Conditions
This position follows a six-day working week and requires shift duty. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible schedules based on operational requirements.
The role involves standing, walking, handling products and performing repetitive picking and packing activities throughout the working shift.
