Job Description/Specification:
A residential compound in Al Hazm, Doha is seeking a vigilant, reliable and professional Security Guard to manage access control and day-to-day security operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting residents, monitoring entry points, maintaining visitor records and ensuring a safe and orderly environment throughout the compound. This role is suitable for security professionals who are alert, presentable and able to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
About the Role
The Security Guard will serve as a key point of contact at the compound's main entrance while also conducting regular patrols and monitoring security systems.
The role requires strong observation skills, professional communication and the ability to follow established security procedures. The successful candidate should be comfortable dealing with residents, visitors, delivery personnel and contractors while maintaining appropriate access control at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage access through the compound's main entrance and verify credentials.
- Check and record residents, visitors, delivery personnel and maintenance contractors.
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor and delivery logs.
- Conduct scheduled foot patrols throughout the residential compound.
- Monitor villas, common areas, parking areas and facility perimeters.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, gate barriers, lighting systems and security alarms.
- Report suspicious activity, security concerns or equipment issues to compound management.
- Ensure visitor parking rules are followed.
- Keep emergency access routes clear at all times.
- Assist residents with basic security-related inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
- Respond promptly and calmly to security alerts and emergency situations.
- Follow established procedures for unauthorized access and other security incidents.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the assigned area.
- Prepare accurate incident reports when required.
- Coordinate with compound management and relevant personnel during security situations.
