The IP & Transport Technical Authority Expert role is suited to experienced telecommunications engineers responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing critical IP and transport network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Manage second-level incidents, faults and KPI-related troubleshooting across IP and transport networks.
- Perform preventive maintenance and support network service continuity.
- Prepare, test and implement configuration changes for service activation, restoration and performance optimization.
- Deploy software updates and upgrades across IP and transport network nodes.
- Handle system administration and customer service requests.
- Support node integration, network expansion and commissioning activities.

Requirements
Candidates should ideally have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in the telecommunications transport domain.
- Strong practical knowledge of IP routing protocols.
- Experience with managed-service telecommunications operations.
- Hands-on experience with network commissioning, configuration, upgrades and maintenance.
- Experience working with multi-vendor routers and firewalls.
