  • Prepare incident reports and daily loss prevention activity summaries.
  • Identify and help resolve potential safety hazards.
  • Escort unauthorised or unwelcome individuals from the property according to established procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling security reports and sensitive information.

  • Develop knowledge of emergency response and incident reporting.
  • Work in a professional hospitality environment in Doha.
  • Build transferable experience for future security, safety and supervisory roles.

Who Should Apply?

The position can be particularly relevant for entry-level security candidates, recent graduates, customer service professionals or individuals looking to move into hotel operations and safety.

The ideal candidate should be observant, professional and capable of handling sensitive information responsibly. Good judgement is important, especially when responding to incidents or dealing with unexpected situations.

Skills That Will Help You Succeed

Situational awareness is one of the most important skills in this role. You should be able to observe your surroundings, recognise unusual activity and report concerns through the correct procedures.

Communication is equally valuable. You may interact with guests, employees, managers and emergency responders, so clear and professional communication is essential.

Other useful skills include:

  • CCTV and alarm monitoring awareness.
  • Key and access control.
  • Incident reporting.
  • Basic emergency response knowledge.
  • Teamwork and coordination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.

Highlight:

  • Customer service or hospitality experience.

Prepare examples that demonstrate responsibility, professionalism and good judgement. Even if you have never worked in security before, you can use examples from customer service, education or previous jobs where you had to follow procedures or respond to an unexpected problem.

Be prepared to explain how you would maintain confidentiality and communicate calmly with guests and colleagues during a difficult situation.
