Job Description/Specification:
We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to support hotel cleanliness, guest comfort, and overall housekeeping standards. The role involves maintaining guest rooms and service areas, supporting housekeeping operations, and ensuring all areas meet the required quality and hygiene standards.

About This Role
The Housekeeping Attendant will contribute to the smooth operation of the housekeeping department by maintaining clean and well-presented guest rooms and public/service areas, reporting maintenance issues, supporting special cleaning projects, and responding effectively to VIP and special guest requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, service areas, and other assigned hotel spaces according to established standards.
- Ensure guest rooms are properly prepared and presented for arrivals and occupied-room service.
- Conduct routine checks of assigned areas to identify cleanliness, maintenance, or presentation issues.
- Report maintenance defects and follow up with the relevant department when required.
- Support periodic deep-cleaning projects and special housekeeping activities.
- Handle housekeeping equipment and supplies responsibly and ensure proper storage and availability.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and report replenishment requirements.
- Support the team in maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization.
- Respond professionally to guest requests, including VIP and special guest requirements.
- Work closely with supervisors and other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest service.
- Follow hotel health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar hospitality environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of guest room cleaning, housekeeping procedures, and hotel cleanliness standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Ability to handle physically demanding housekeeping duties.
- Reliable, professional, and guest-focused approach.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and according to hotel operational requirements.

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Relevant hospitality or housekeeping training is an advantage.
