Job Description/Specification:
Nasser Bin Khaled seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Wellness Division, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, resource optimization, and sustainable business growth. The role combines operational leadership with commercial awareness, requiring strong experience in the medical services, biomedical equipment, and healthcare project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Wellness Division, ensuring efficient workflows and high service standards.
- Lead operational improvements to enhance productivity, quality, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable biomedical, healthcare, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clinical, technical, commercial, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Plan workforce requirements, staffing schedules, and resource allocation according to operational demand.
- Oversee procurement, inventory, and availability of biomedical equipment, medical supplies, and consumables.
- Manage vendors and suppliers, monitoring performance, quality, service levels, and cost effectiveness.
- Monitor customer and patient experience, resolve escalations, and address service gaps.
- Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvement.
- Track and analyze KPIs, operational performance, revenue indicators, and service metrics.
- Prepare management reports, performance dashboards, and business recommendations for senior leadership.
- Ensure effective utilization of LIMS, EMR, CRM, and other operational systems.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support business development and growth initiatives, particularly opportunities involving medical equipment and hospital projects.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
- Perform other duties related to the position as directed by the Head of Department.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare, medical services, biomedical equipment, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in Qatar/GCC is preferred.
- Strong experience managing sales or commercial teams within the medical services sector, with a focus on revenue generation, lead development, medical equipment sales, and hospital projects.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, biomedical equipment, procurement, vendors, and service delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Strong strategic, analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
