Job Description/Specification:
A leading organization is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee security operations, risk management, investigations, and contract security teams. The role requires extensive security management experience, strong operational knowledge, and the ability to develop and implement effective security strategies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily security operations to protect customers, employees, visitors, assets, and facilities.
- Lead investigations into security incidents and prepare detailed reports in English, with Arabic translation where required.
- Manage, supervise, coach, and discipline contract security personnel to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, protocols, and operational standards.
- Monitor security performance, productivity, KPIs, SLAs, and compliance.
- Conduct regular Security Risk Assessments (SRA) and develop corrective and improvement plans.
- Represent the security function in facility management and quality meetings, including FMS, JCI, KPI, and SLA discussions.
- Provide professional security advice to management and develop solutions for issues including illegal parking, smoking, access control, and visitor management.
- Identify security risks and recommend practical measures to strengthen overall site security.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Security, Investigations, Police, Forensic, or Military Studies.
- Degrees focused on Safety or General Management are not accepted.
- Minimum 15 years of security experience, including at least 5 years in a similar security management role.
- Police or military experience may be considered, with a minimum of 8 years operational experience at Warrant Officer level or above, provided the candidate also has the required security management experience.
- Minimum 7 years of security management experience, including 4 years in a similar role, where applicable.
- Security Risk Assessment certification required.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification preferred/required as specified.
- International security certifications are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, investigations, risk assessment, and security management.
- English – Level 2 proficiency required.
