Job Description/Specification:
A leading global aircraft design and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sensor Instructor to deliver theoretical and practical training for NH90 NFH helicopter sensor systems in Qatar.
The role will focus on advanced training covering Radar, FLIR, Electronic Warfare, ESM, Sonar, and Acoustic Buoys, supporting effective mission preparation, sensor operation, data interpretation, and tactical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver basic and advanced theoretical and practical training on helicopter sensor systems.
- Train personnel in the operational use of Radar, FLIR, Electronic Warfare, Sonar, and Acoustic Buoys.
- Provide instruction on surveillance, reconnaissance, target detection, and mission support activities.
- Train personnel in mission planning, execution, sensor data interpretation, and threat identification.
- Develop understanding of crew coordination and cooperation with other operational units during tactical missions.
- Ensure training complies with established SOPs, aviation procedures, and safety requirements.
- Support effective interpretation and analysis of sensor information for operational and tactical decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sensor technologies, operational techniques, and relevant training methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience operating sensors on military helicopters or equivalent defense-sector experience.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance, target acquisition, and military mission-support sensor technologies.
- Detailed understanding of Radar, Electronic Warfare, Sonar, Acoustic Buoys, and FLIR systems.
- Knowledge of relevant naval aviation weapon systems, including MARTE MK2-S, MARTE ER, and MU-90 torpedo systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret sensor data to support operational decisions.
- Experience using software and IT tools for sensor-data analysis and visualization.
- Adequate knowledge of Mission Preparation and Analysis System (MPAS).
- Willingness to undertake specialist training and maintain current technical knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively with instructors, aircrew, ground personnel, and operational teams.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and adverse weather conditions.
