Job Description/Specification:
The successful candidate will support access control and control room operations, monitor activities, maintain security procedures, and ensure compliance with established operational and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage access control systems and entry points.
- Operate control room systems and monitor security activities.
- Verify personnel, visitor, and vehicle access in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor CCTV and security systems where applicable.
- Record and report incidents, access activities, and operational issues.
- Respond appropriately to security alerts and escalate incidents when required.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and shift handover information.
- Coordinate with security teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow company security, safety, and emergency procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should meet one of the following experience/qualification pathways:
- Degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma / Ex-Armed Forces: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant Professional Certificate: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous Access Control or Control Room experience is required.
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a security-focused operational environment.
