Job Description/Specification:
DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is seeking an experienced Civil 3D BIM Modeler with strong expertise in roads, infrastructure, and dry/wet utility projects to join its team in Qatar. The role is responsible for developing accurate BIM models, preparing shop drawings, coordinating multidisciplinary models, and supporting infrastructure project delivery.

Job Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with civil engineers, BIM teams, and project stakeholders to develop and coordinate detailed models for roads and utility networks. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks is essential, along with experience in infrastructure modelling and BIM coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models for roads and civil infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Model and coordinate dry and wet utility networks, including drainage, sewer, water, and electrical systems.
- Prepare accurate shop drawings based on project requirements and approved designs.
- Use Revit and Navisworks for model integration, coordination, and clash detection.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM specialists, and project teams to resolve modelling and design issues.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, specifications, and infrastructure design requirements.
- Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure modelling.
- Strong experience in roads and utility projects.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Revit
- Navisworks
- Strong understanding of dry and wet utility networks.
- Experience with infrastructure design standards and BIM requirements.
- Strong shop drawing preparation skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Roads and highway infrastructure projects.
- Water, sewerage, drainage, and electrical utility networks.
- BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
