Job Description/Specification:
A construction company in Qatar is seeking an experienced Foreman – Epoxy & Terrazzo Works to supervise specialized flooring and finishing activities at project sites. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in epoxy flooring and terrazzo works, along with the ability to manage site teams, materials, quality, and daily productivity.
Job Overview
The Foreman will oversee the complete execution of epoxy and terrazzo flooring works, ensuring activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality requirements, and project schedules.
The role requires strong practical knowledge, team leadership, site coordination, and the ability to identify and resolve workmanship issues while maintaining high HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate epoxy flooring and terrazzo works at project sites.
- Allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment effectively.
- Oversee surface preparation, mixing, application, leveling, grinding, polishing, and finishing.
- Supervise self-leveling epoxy, epoxy coatings, decorative epoxy, and related flooring systems.
- Manage terrazzo installation, grinding, polishing, joint detailing, and finishing.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor daily productivity and progress against project schedules.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other site teams.
- Inspect completed works and rectify quality or workmanship issues before inspection.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of tools, machinery, and materials.
- Enforce site HSE requirements and safe working practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Foreman specializing in epoxy flooring and terrazzo works.
- Strong practical knowledge of epoxy flooring and terrazzo application techniques.
- Experience with self-leveling, coating, decorative epoxy, grinding, polishing, and finishing works.
- Ability to supervise skilled and unskilled workers effectively.
- Ability to understand drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Strong knowledge of flooring quality standards and defect troubleshooting.
- Good communication, leadership, and site coordination skills.
- GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Candidates currently in Qatar with transferable QID/NOC are preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given priority.
