Job Description/Specification:
A reputed audit firm in Qatar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented External Auditor to join its professional team. The successful candidate will support external audit assignments, work with clients across various sectors, and ensure audit procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform external audit procedures and assist with audit engagements.
- Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation.
- Identify financial and operational risks and communicate audit findings.
- Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules.
- Assist in evaluating internal controls and accounting processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and audit team members.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with professional auditing and accounting standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of external audit experience with a reputable audit firm.
- Previous experience in external auditing is mandatory.
- Native Arabic speaker is required.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Must hold a valid Qatar Residence Permit (QID).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
